The STIHL HLA 86 professional cordless hedge trimmer from the STIHL AP system is ideal for the efficient maintenance of tall hedges, shrubs and ground cover. The robust EC motor with infinitely variable speed delivers consistently high performance. The cutter bar can be adjusted by 115° for top, bottom or side cuts without tools.
The cutter blade, ground on both sides, allows for an attractive, clean cut. The tool-free adjustable square telescopic shaft impresses with its high level of guide rigidity. The STIHL HLA86 hedge trimmer has a 260 - 330 cm telescoping shaft for hard to reach areas and can be folded up to 180 cm for easier transport
Standard features
Telescopic shaft with rotatable clamping sleeve
With a practical square telescopic shaft, which can be extended from 2.6m to 3.3m, even high or wide hedges are no problem. The shaft length can be adjusted without tools using the rotatable clamping sleeve.
Perfectly balanced
The battery in the shaft of the HLA enables balance during use and allows for fatigue-free work.
Intuitive control handle
The ergonomic operating handle has an intuitive start process and is easy to use for right and left hand users.
Double-sided cutting plate
The double-sided cutting plate is ground on both sides and ensures a clean cutting pattern.
Quick-adjustment system
The cutter bar can be adjusted from -45° to 70° and can be folded and locked parallel to the shaft for transport.
