Agri-Fab 45 0545 Towable Spiker Aerator and Drop Seed Spreader employs a set of 10 spiked wheels that cut tiny slits in the surface of the soil, allowing water, light and nutrients to access the root system. In conjunction with the aeration, the 45 0545 has a drop spreader which will deposit seed or fertiliser onto the ground at the same time. The robust build quality and corrosion-proof poly hopper ensure a lengthy product life.

The 102 cm (40”) working-width and 79kg (175lb) hopper makes this model suitable for areas of up to 3700m2 (roughly half-an-acre). It has smooth-running rib-tread wheels, and it’s supplied with a universal clevis hitch link-pin, so it can be used with ride-on lawn mowers or quad bikes.

There is a plate inside the hopper which can be adjusted to allow for larger material passing through or pushed closed when smaller seed is being dropped during use.

The feed and spread of material used in this drop spreader is fixed at 102cm (40”) and it doesn’t ‘scatter’ seed but drops it as it passes over the ground.

This product is suitable for drop spreading grass seed.
