The MS251 is powerful and compact with all the features you need to get the job done. All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single lever, the master control, while the chain break is easily activated and can be operated with just one hand. Stihl have provided further convenience to the user through the tool free filler caps with catches for easy opening and locking. Unlike similar models, the MS251 has a scaled down version of a fully articulated felling spike. The side chain tensioner is located on the right hand side of the machine with the sprocket cover.
