The Suzuki DF140ATX Outboard - 140HP Extra Long Shaft (635mm) provides powerful and reliable innovation. A large gear ratio and an offset drive shaft which provides both power and speed.
This unique model uses the Lean burn fuel control technology to predict fuel needs from the engines operating conditions. This results in improved fuel efficiency.
The offset drive allows the outboard to be made smaller by moving the outboards center of gravity forward, improving weight distribution, power output, balance and reduces vibrations.
The engine's self adjusting timing chain runs in an oil bath so it never needs to be lubricated. The hydraulic tensioner allows the chain to be fully adjusted at all times.
Suzuki's keyless start system creates a stress free starting system and acts as an immobiliser to protect against theft.
An O2 sensor feedback control system maintains optimum engine operation efficiency.
