Despite its increased cutting capacity, the GTA 30 remains exceptionally lightweight at just 1.9 kg, making it comfortable to handle and easy to manoeuvre. The longer 15 cm guide bar provides greater reach compared to smaller garden pruners, allowing you to tackle thicker branches and larger pruning tasks with ease.

Non-slip rubberised handles provide excellent grip and control, even during extended cutting sessions, while the ergonomic design ensures comfortable operation for users of all experience levels.

High Performance Saw Chain

The GTA 30 is fitted with a high-quality ¼" PM3 saw chain designed for low vibration and strong cutting performance. This precision chain ensures smooth, clean cuts through branches and garden timber while maintaining excellent efficiency and control.

Quick and Simple Chain Tensioning

Maintaining the correct chain tension is quick and tool-free thanks to the innovative spring-loaded tensioning system. Simply fold out the handle on the sprocket cover and rotate it 90 degrees to automatically adjust the chain tension, keeping the pruner ready for work in seconds.

Chain lubrication is equally straightforward – simply apply lubricant directly to the chain when required.

Dual Battery Power for Maximum Performance

The GTA 30 operates using two STIHL AS 2 batteries that discharge in parallel to deliver reliable cutting power. Both batteries must be inserted for operation, ensuring consistent performance throughout each task.

An integrated charge-level indicator positioned on top of the tool provides a clear and easy view of remaining battery capacity during use.

Fast Charging with AL 5-2 Dual Charger

The supplied AL 5-2 high-speed charger allows you to recharge two AS 2 batteries simultaneously in approximately 50 minutes, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring your tool is always ready for the next job.

Practical Storage and Transport Case

The GTA 30 comes with a durable storage case designed to keep everything organised and protected. The case includes space for two additional AS 2 batteries and features a clear diagram showing correct battery orientation, making it easy to keep track of which batteries are charged and ready to use.

A built-in hanging eyelet on the tool also allows convenient storage on a hook in your workshop or shed.

Safe Two-Handed Operation

For safe and controlled cutting, the GTA 30 should always be operated with two hands — one on the main handle and one on the top handle — allowing precise guidance through branches and pruning tasks.

Excellent Cutting Performance

With the recommended AS 2 batteries, the GTA 30 can deliver up to 180 cuts in branches up to 5 cm thick, making it an efficient solution for routine garden pruning and maintenance.
