The Mantis Back Porch ComposTumbler has a Drainage Aerator/Drainage unit on the bottom. Air circulates through the ComposTumbler by use of the Screened vents on each side.
The frame of the ComposTumbler has a Polyester powder-coated black steel tubing, with two wheels for increased maneuverability. The drum itseld it made of high quality materials such as a high density polyethylen Double-wall with insulating air cell. These materials are BPA-free with food grade plastic end caps.
It can take anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks to finish composting, however, this is subject to ambient temperature and combination of materials being composted. The turning Indented grooves on the drum allow grip for turning.
