The Mantis Aerator Attachment uses four sets of tempered steel knives to cut into the soil under your lawn and permit easy absorption of water, oxygen and nutrients.

Procedure:

• Tines cut 4 hairline slits roughly 2 1/2 inches apart and 1 1/2 inches deep.
• Perfect to use in compact, clay soil.
• Aerate before overseeding or spot seeding lawn.

Reduce soil compaction to let air and water in with the Mantis Aerator. This encourages healthy lawns and promotes the activity of beneficial soil microorganisms. Lawn care attachments are not recommended for surface-rooted grasses (Bermuda, Zoysia, Centipede, and St. Augustine) because it can damage the root system.
