How to know if the blades on a chipper need replacing?

 Chipper loses its self-feeding action with blunt knives

 Material has to be pushed in

 Material comes out in long strips

Measure the width of the knife and check that it is at least 35mm. If the blade is less than 35 mm, then the blade should be replaced.

WARNING! Do NOT operate your chipper with blunt blades.

 Blunt blades will cause excessive vibration

 Blunt blades result in damage to the chipper
